HCC Solicitors to move to flagship office space

23rd Nov 2022

HCC Solicitors (HCC), the award-winning serious injury law firm, has confirmed it is relocating to a flagship office development in Greater Manchester.

The specialist serious injury law firm has taken 11,886 sq- ft at Trafford House in Old Trafford, the space formerly occupied by building owners Bruntwood.

Bruntwood has consolidated its Manchester offices into its Union HQ, expanding from one floor to two in the city centre workspace.

Trafford House features a secure cycle hub, showers and changing facilities, a large communal coworking lounge complete with kitchen, outdoor seating and meeting rooms, a studio gym with Les Mills fitness classes, and a vibrant community events programme.

The relocation follows a period of organic growth across the firm and lateral hires of senior lawyers, bolstering its presence in Manchester, London and Birmingham.

David Horwich, Director at HCC, said:

“Trafford House offers a spacious, open plan layout which is more accommodating to our collaborative and personal approach to working. We are looking forward to moving in before the end of the year.”

Brian Coghlan, Director at HCC, added:

“We are excited to make Trafford House our national headquarters. It’s a highly visible landmark building and easily accessible with excellent transport links. It’s the perfect location for our Manchester team as we look to extend our specialist range of serious injury services geographically.”

Sharon Johnson, Bruntwood head of commercial, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome HCC to the Trafford House community. Trafford House offers some of the best workspace on the edge of the city centre and we’re thrilled that HCC’s staff can now take advantage of facilities to help bring balance to their working day.”

HCC, and its associated companies including First Central Law and Law Together, employ approximately 200 people and have formed formal partnerships in 2022 with leading UK charities including Brake, RoadPeace, SIA and the Matt Hampson Foundation who support people who have sustained catastrophic injuries. The firm is also a member of the Major Trauma Group, a national network of serious injury lawyers.
