HCC sponsors DCS Andy Cox in 200k run in aid of RoadPeace

20th May 2021

HCC Solicitors is very proud to sponsor and support Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox (@AndyCoxDCS on Twitter) in his incredible 200k running challenge (15th – 23rd May – which is also UN Global Road Safety Week) in aid of RoadPeace.

So far he’s raised more than £29,000 of a £35,000 target. And the donations are still pouring in. You can donate on his JustGiving page here.

RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims in the UK. We provide information and support services to people bereaved or seriously injured in road crashes and engage in evidence based policy and campaigning work to fight for justice for victims and reduce road danger.

Set up in 1992 by a mother whose son was killed by a red light offender, we are a membership organisation whose work is informed by the needs and experiences of road crash victims. RoadPeace is governed by a board of trustees, has a small staff team and a network of active members and volunteers.

RoadPeace exists to support and empower those bereaved and injured by road crashes and their families; to improve the justice system’s post-crash response and to spare future generations from preventable death and injury. As a membership charity, it puts victims at the heart of its work, equipping them to support other victims, campaign for change and shape RoadPeace’s work.
