HCC Solicitors Named Finalist for Investors in People UK Employer of the Year 2026
25th Sep 2026
We’re delighted to share the news that HCC Solicitors has been named a finalist in the prestigious Investors in People Employer of the Year Award 2026, recognising the firm’s commitment to creating an outstanding workplace culture while continuing its ambitious growth across the UK.
The award celebrates organisations that demonstrate exceptional leadership, employee engagement and people-focused practices.
The finalist recognition follows a year of significant investment in employee wellbeing, development and inclusion at HCC. The firm introduced a range of initiatives including a dedicated safeguarding policy for employees working on trauma-related cases, enhanced family-friendly benefits, leadership development programmes, wellbeing support services and employee-led forums designed to help shape the future of the business.
This recognition highlights how the firm’s people strategy is closely aligned with its “family first” ethos, ensuring that colleagues receive the same level of care and support that HCC seeks to provide to clients facing life-changing injury and complex legal challenges.
It also reflects strong employee feedback, with independent Investors in People assessment results showing above-average scores across leadership, workplace culture, wellbeing and learning and development. During the same period, the firm continued to grow, recruiting 37 new professionals, expanding its office network and securing substantial damages for clients.
Martin James, Director at HCC said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be named a finalist for Employer of the Year. This recognition reflects the commitment of every member of our team and the culture we have worked hard to build together. As HCC continues to grow, we remain focused on ensuring our people feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work. Being shortlisted by Investors in People is a fantastic achievement and something we are all incredibly proud of.”
The winner will be announced at the Investors in People Awards 2026 ceremony in London on 18 November.
