Claims Team Leader – 1CL Claims Team

Admitted Liability Senior Case Handler role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Fee Earner within the Small Claims Platform Department. This person will lead a Team of 3 including themselves and 2 more junior handlers.

The team will run a caseload between them, with the Senior case handler allocating tasks to be completed as part of the role. This team will work on the new Small Claims Platform being built in VisualFiles.

The role will comprise of the following duties:

•   Dealing with a full caseload
•   Assisting/advising/leading the other members of the team
•   Valuing injury claims, collating claims for special damages, dealing with matterson the Official Injury Claims Portal
•   Must have excellent communication skills
•   Must have previous experience of using a Case Management System
•   Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively to deadlinesEssential

•   Previous experience of running a full caseload
•   Good working knowledge of the CPR
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•   Proven ability to work to deadlines
•   Keen eye for detail with excellent organisational skills
•   Willingness to learn and adapt to a new system
•   Empathetic, compassionate and have experience of dealing with potentiallydifficult situations with the ability to think logically
•   IT skills such as WORD / EXCEL / OUTLOOK
