Legal Compliance Auditor

Location: Manchester / Hybrid

We have a fantastic new opportunity within our Compliance team.

We are looking for a dedicated and professional auditor to work alongside our Compliance Officer to support our legal teams in managing risk and continuing to achieve the highest professional standards.

The successful candidate will be adept at conducting file audits and have a keen eye for detail.  A passion for doing things the right way is of paramount importance as is the ability to work collaboratively with our legal teams in order to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

You will conduct file audits and have the confidence to put forward ideas or raise any concerns. A proactive approach is needed in order to highlight potential issues early.  Although at times it will be necessary to deal with issues arising from complaints, the objective is to build positive relationships with the wider business and contribute to improvements within the teams.

The role will offer the opportunity to learn and improve. From starting with basic audit work you will pick up other aspects of compliance as you expand your experience and knowledge whilst engaging directly with the owners of the business.

A fee earning background would be a distinct advantage for this role but for the right candidate with the ability to demonstrate the relevant audit background and skills it is not essential.

This role offers the benefits of working from home with our agile working arrangements which are complemented by our bright and modern premises in Manchester for your days in the office (currently minimum 2 days a week).

To apply for this exciting and rewarding role at our award-winning law firm please send your CV and a cover letter to careers@hccsolicitors.com
