About Andrea
Andrea is a partner within the personal injury department based in Manchester. She joined the firm in 2000 as a Legal Secretary, and with the support of the Directors, she was promoted to the position of Litigation Executive and began running cases under supervision in 2003.
In 2007, she qualified as a Legal Executive then in 2010 she qualified as a solicitor. At that point, Andrea was appointed to manage a team of solicitors and litigation executives in addition to running her own caseload. She was promoted to Associate in 2012, and made Partner in 2014.
How Andrea Works
Andrea is a highly methodical thinker with a structured approach to building effective processes. She achieves this by breaking down technical and complex tasks into clear, logical steps, whilst identifying inefficiencies and risks, to ensure regulatory compliance and best practice whilst delivering excellent client care.
Expertise
Having worked in personal injury for over 25 years, Andrea has a vast experience in the field. In recent years, Andrea’s focus has evolved into Legal Operations, and she is now responsible for ensuring systems, people, and processes support a high-quality client service and efficient working practices.
In addition, Andrea is responsible for Learning and Development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning and development initiatives across the business that meet regulatory training requirements, and which support the professional growth of solicitors, trainees and paralegals. This enables the firm to deliver excellent client care and outcomes.
Commitment Beyond The Case
In her spare time, Andrea uses her organisational and communicational skills to fulfil her role as Secretary for her local Civilian Committee for RAF Cadets.
