We specialise in representing people who have sustained life-changing injuries. Our lawyers are on your side from day one.

We will ensure that the emotional, financial and practical worries experienced by families in the immediate aftermath are removed so that recovery and rehabilitation can begin.

The evidence proves that early rehabilitation improves clinical outcomes in people who are seriously injured.

Our expert team of specialist lawyers will get your family access to funding for private medical support through the relevant insurance companies involved.

No two cases are the same and every single family we represent has their own unique needs and priorities. If you, or a family member are suffering from major trauma injuries, we will focus on maximising the rehabilitation available to aid your recovery.

What happens if a family member is seriously injured and in a major trauma centre?

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, 30 NHS hospitals are designated as specialist major trauma centres, and seriously injured patients are often taken directly from the scene of their injury to these specialist centres by paramedics for treatment.

Life-changing legal support

Our Major Trauma and Serious Injury team was established specifically to support and advise people who are admitted to  specialist NHS major trauma centres – as well as other hospitals people find themselves in.

We will visit you personally at the hospital and in your own homes when appropriate for you and your family. This is so we can thoroughly present your case to insurers to ensure that there is no delay in the funding of your treatment.

We prioritise effective delivery of rehabilitation treatment from an early stage and will do everything we can to ensure that the course of treatment set out in your rehabilitation plan is delivered.

We work with private treatment providers who can deliver treatments to supplement and complement existing and effective NHS services, and we ensure these costs are funded wherever possible by a third-party compensator.

If your family member is in hospital, we are happy to speak to you to guide you on your next steps as a family to ensure you get rapid access to the rehabilitation your loved one needs. You can call our hotline on 0330 175 7770.

Financial compensation

Whilst this work is ongoing, we will also take steps to build up the complex and comprehensive body of evidence that will be required to make sure that you receive maximum compensation to help cover all the financial costs involved, including support for your family.

We take care of interactions with case managers, clinical experts, barristers, statutory bodies and the Police or HSE during any investigation and subsequent Inquest and will ensure your interests are best served in the pursuit of justice.

No two cases are identical and every client has their own particular needs and priorities, but in every case we will focus on maximising rehabilitation delivery to help you recover, and then make sure that financial compensation is optimised to help provide for the future of your family.
